For the first time In Vanguard Academy history, two basketball players achieved a major fest on Friday night.
Seniors Erik Cantu and Dany Rosell from Vanguard Academy-Beethoven etched their name In the history books as they became the first two players to record 1,000-points In their career at the same time.
The dynamic duo have played an integral part in the Gladiators success this season as they are currently 18-1 in District 31-3A and are the scoring leaders on the team as well.

This weekend Beethoven Secondary Criminal Justice Club competed in SkillsUSA at TSTC in Harlingen. We had 2 teams in Felony Traffic Stop which consisted of Jillian Rodriguez, Catherine Lavin, Sarah Castelan and Caleen Arispe. We also had Joel Luevano and Annette Ibarra compete in Police Application. Ariel Olmos, Juan Zuniga and Ximena Gomez competed in Crime Scene Model as well producing awesome designs.

Shout out to our High School Varsity Boys Soccer Team who won last night vs. Idea Pharr. The game ended with a 3-3 and double overtime. Afterwards to conclude with penalty kicks, the boys dominated winning penalty 3-1.
Everyone did an amazing job and worked together along the game.

Christoffer Delgado was named 4th chair drummer and has made the second band (FIRST TIME THE REGION HAS A 6th grader make the GROUP!!!!!!!) He is the ONLY 6th grader to make a MS Region Band AND Region Jazz Band 😱😱😱
