Beethoven Early College High School

We’re proud to share that Beethoven Early College High School’s Criminal Justice students have officially started their internships! Six students are gaining hands-on experience by interning with Beethoven Early College High School's security team, while two others (not pictured) have secured internships with local law firms—a fantastic opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world practice. In addition, all students participated in an insightful presentation from the Edinburg Municipal Court, where they learned about bullying, juvenile court procedures, the effects of drug use, and truancy. These lessons are helping them deepen their understanding of the law and the importance of their roles in the community. We’re incredibly proud of these Gladiators for taking meaningful steps toward their future careers!

Huge shotout to our VBS Seniors, Class of 2026 and Vanguard Office Administration for giving them the opportunity to give back to the community on their Free Car Wash Fundraiser last Saturday, Oct. 18th. Seniors had sponsors that would pay for every vehicle our Seniors washed that day. Great outcome and great work team!!

The Criminal Justice Club is currently taking orders for Cotton candy for their Spring Fundraiser. Cotton candy orders are being taken till Friday October 24th and Jr's Cotton Candy Cravings will be fulfilling our orders. Tubs are 32oz and are being sold for $8. There is currently 15 flavors you can pick from, which are all delicious 😋.

This past week Beethoven Criminal Justice Officers attended the SkillsUSA leadership conference in Harlingen where they attended different sessions on leadership skills, teamwork and what is needed to lead a team into victory. They will be preparing their team for their February competition 🎉

Yesterday some of the CTE Criminal Justice Students attended the 32nd Annual Candlelight Vigil hosted by Mujeres Unidas to raise awareness for Domestic Violence.
