The Criminal Justice Club is currently taking orders for Cotton candy for their Spring Fundraiser. Cotton candy orders are being taken till Friday October 24th and Jr's Cotton Candy Cravings will be fulfilling our orders. Tubs are 32oz and are being sold for $8. There is currently 15 flavors you can pick from, which are all delicious 😋.

This is a notice that our Beethoven ECHS campus will be conducting a shelter-in-place drill shortly. This is only a drill and there is no active threat. This past week Beethoven Criminal Justice Officers attended the SkillsUSA leadership conference in Harlingen where they attended different sessions on leadership skills, teamwork and what is needed to lead a team into victory. They will be preparing their team for their February competition 🎉

Yesterday some of the CTE Criminal Justice Students attended the 32nd Annual Candlelight Vigil hosted by Mujeres Unidas to raise awareness for Domestic Violence.
We are so excited to announce we finally have a wrestling program!

On Thursday, October 2nd, Vanguard Academy hosted the first Superintendent’s Parent Roundtable of the year at the San Juan Memorial Library. Parents joined Superintendent Dr. Marisol Rocha for an engaging discussion on district initiatives, school updates, and ways families can help shape the future of our schools.
💬 The roundtable created a space to:
✅ Learn about district goals
✅ Share ideas & feedback
✅ Connect with other parents
✅ Participate in a Q&A session
🗓 Monthly meetings will continue through May 2026, and we look forward to welcoming more families to future sessions!
