Congratulations to our Lady Gladiators on their big 3–0 victory over IDEA Pharr last night! With this win, they close out Round 1 in 3rd place. The top 4 teams advance to the playoffs — and our girls are right where they need to be!

Christoffer Delgado was named 4th chair drummer and has made the second band (FIRST TIME THE REGION HAS A 6th grader make the GROUP!!!!!!!) He is the ONLY 6th grader to make a MS Region Band AND Region Jazz Band 😱😱😱
Mason Alanis (8th grader) was named 1st chair Tenor Sax in the First band!
These two will show off their talents in the Jazz All region Clinic and concert at Robert Vela HS on February 27-28.

Congratulations to the students who participated at last Saturday's UIL Invitational at Weslaco High School. It was a busy weekend for our Gladiators. There were over 40 campuses that attended. 3 of our 6 participants placed at the event.

This week, we celebrate National School Counselor week. This week exists to highlight the unique contributions that school counselors make within the US School Systems and how students are impacted by their work. There is no doubt that our counselors are actively engaged in helping our students examine their abilities, strengths, interests, talents; working in partnerships with parents and finding ways to enhance a student's academic career.

This is Vanguard Beethoven's 1st year having a wrestling program and we are so proud to that in our inaugural year we have our first ever District Champion Nia Rocha. History has been made but the job is not done as she will be competing at regionals this week.
This marks an exciting milestone in our inaugural Gladiator Wrestling season, and We are incredibly proud of our JV Wrestling Team, who competed this past weekend in the JV District Tournament and showed up in a highly competitive 5A division.
Our girls’ team placed 2nd🏆, and the boys’ team earned a Top 10 overall finish, with the following individuals Gladiators placing in their respective weight classes:
