What an incredible weekend for our Vanguard Academy Beethoven Campus chess students at the 2026 Middle School National Chess Tournament in Round Rock, TX! Congratulations to Orlando Falcon, Bryan Cheatham, Fryan Cheatham, and 5th grade student Nicholas Jasso for proudly representing vanguard academy on the national level.
A special congratulations to Orlando Falcon(7th) for an outstanding performance securing 2nd Place in the Under 1700 section! What an amazing accomplishment! No matter the final standings, competing at a national tournament is something truly special. These students earned their place through hard work, practice, courage, dedication, and countless hours of preparation.
Every round was an opportunity to learn.
Every game made them stronger.
Every challenge helped them grow ,not only as chess players, but as young leaders.
We are incredibly proud of all four students for representing Vanguard Academy Beethoven Campus with excellence, determination, and sportsmanship. Thank you for making our school community proud!
